NAME THE WORKING

TAPPING

Thought Field Therapy began in 1980, with a psychologist by the name of Roger Callahan, and an accidental discovery while working with one of his patients. His colleague Gary Craig began to observe some problems with TFT, aspects that he saw were unnecessary complications. So in the 1990’s Craig developed Emotional Field Technique or EFT as a simplified, improved version of the concepts behind Callahan’s TFT.  EFT soon became known as Tapping and now has one basic, simple sequence of points to tap, no matter what the situation.

Identify the problem you want to focus on and compose your set up statement.

Gently tap with your fingertips, not your fingernails. Use whichever hand is most comfortable, left or right, or alternate. The tapping order begins with the hands and moves to the top and works down. Relax, sit comfortably, take a slow relaxing breath and begin. Tap 3-6 times each on all points from the top down.

Blue Moon, Dragon Circle 2018

Tonight we’ll be doing a Dragon Circle.  Dragons, and the easily visible Dragon Flies, have always been my Energy Spirits.  So tonight I’ve brought some of my buddies with me, and others from the surrounding area will probably join us. They come in all sizes, some no bigger than a Dragon Fly, others the size of a house.  If the big guy from the North shows up, don’t worry about him…he’s truly bigger than he seems and just a nice grounding teddy bear.  So don’t be surprised if you feel a slight breeze, or a warm touch.  Just say hello and let us know.

Dragons of the North, South, East & West – hear my call, attend to me!  Those who live on this property and dwell in this space – gather round, we have work to do.  Tomorrow will be time to play.  Set the wards, awaken the guards – I charge you with the protection of those who fill this room.  Let no harm come to them. 

Circle round; reflect back without malice anything that comes will ill intent.  Allow entry only to those who come for our own greater good.  Allow only those energies that arrive in peace and good will. So Mote it Be.

Blue Moon 2018 CO1

Blue Moon 2018

The Blue Moon, the second of two full moons in one calendar month, is an especially Magickal time, think of it as a lunar bonus round, a chance to ask for special “once in a blue moon” favors, or to work with “once in a lifetime” spells.

A square of blue cloth or sturdy blue Christmas wrapping paper. Ideally, the cloth or paper will have moons and stars printed on it, alternatively you can decorate it yourself with glitter glue, stickers, etc.

Bottle of Champagne, a glass, and a corkscrew

Get centered, and sit down with your pen and paper and make a list of all the things you would want but which seem impossible. This includes anything that you find yourself repeatedly asking for. Think of “once in a lifetime,” or “once in a blue moon,” or “that couldn’t possibly happen to me,” things. The longer the list is, the better.

Now, look at each thing on your list and really think about it. Is this something you really want? If it showed up at your front door tomorrow morning would you really accept it? Are you sure this is for you? Cross off any items that you can’t say YES to with enthusiasm.

Pick your top thirteen “geez I wish I could have that” items from your list. Cut your paper into thirteen moon shapes and write one wish on each one. Write it in a positive, affirmative way, such as: “I win millions of dollars in the lottery.” or “I get an all expenses paid month long vacation in Fiji with the person I love.”

Open up the square of cloth or paper, and pin the 13 wishes to it with safety pins. (The safety pins insure safety and security for you as your wishes unfold.). Now fold the cloth into a neat little bundle and tie it with the gold ribbon or cord.

Take the champagne, the glass, corkscrew, and your bundle outside under the full moon. Hold the bundle up and say the following:  Please grant me these wishes, with harm to none, and bring me a life filled with love and with fun.  I give you permission on this special night to unbind whatever I may have closed tight; to slip past the blocks, to move through whatever might, stop you from granting these wishes tonight.

With malice towards no-one, and harm to none. By the grace of the Goddess, by the grace of the God, as I will it, so it shall be done.  So mote it be.

Now, uncork the champagne, and pour it into the glass. Hold up the glass of champagne and make a toast (say a heartfelt blessing) to the moon, and pour a small amount on the ground. Then make a toast to the Goddess and the God (a blessing and a thank-you), and pour a small amount on the ground. Then toast to yourself (something loving and kind), and drink the rest of the champagne in the glass.

Put the bundle in a place where things get worked on regularly, such as desk drawer, office cabinet, or tool box. On New Year’s Eve of the following year, make a list of all the wonderful and amazing things that happened since this spell, then toss the bundle (unopened) into a fire with thanks and gratitude.

Before cutting the branch of a tree or removing a flower, tell the spirit of the tree or plant what you are going to do, so that they can withdraw their energy from that place and not feel the cut so strong.

When you go to nature and want to take a stone that was in the river, ask the river keeper if he allows you to take one of his sacred stones.

If you have to climb a mountain or make a pilgrimage through the jungle, ask permission from the spirits and guardians of the place. It is very important that you communicate even if you do not feel, do not listen or do not see. Enter with respect to each place, since Nature listens to you, sees you and feels you.

Every movement you make in the microcosm generates a great impact on the macrocosm.

When you approach an animal, give thanks for the medicine it has for you.

Honor life in its many forms and be aware that each being is fulfilling its purpose, nothing was created to fill spaces, everything and everyone is here remembering our mission, remembering who we are and awakening from the sacred dream to return home.

HPS:    Let my worship be within the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. Therefore, let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.

 

HP:    The forceful waters gathered from racing streams and surging waterfalls represent the Mystery of the Gods.  (The pitcher of water raised for all to see)

 

HPS:    Let my reverence be within the soul that aspires, let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing within you.  For these too are parts of the mysteries.  All beginnings have endings, and all endings have beginnings.

We call upon the masculine and feminine waters, drawn from a forest mountain stream.  We use it to bless, cleanse and anoint us for this Circle of Elders. As the water from the pool represents the female and the water from the falls represents the male, the two joined together represent the God and Goddess flowing as one. So Mote it Be.

NORTH:    All too soon, we look towards the winter season of our lives; it’s a time to rest and reflect to gather strength knowing the sun will always rise again. In the darkness of the Midnight Hour, it will not be a time to be afraid. So we each will choose to walk forward into our lives without fear. EAST:    We remember fondly the springtime of our youngest years; a brief moment of new beginnings and constantly unfolding mysteries. With the utmost respect I request the assistance of the Chivani of the Roma.  Sara Kali; Mother, woman, sister, queen, the source of all Romany blood; this altar is dedicated to you.  Sara Kali, you have stood beside me since I was a child and each day I’ve treasured your presence in my life.  Tonight I request your help – please watch over my Kumpania, protect my familia from any who would do them harm.  Assist us with your incredible healing energies.  Let the things that happen tonight be only for the greater good of all.  So Mote it Be.

The first is a Circle of Protection - as we ask the great God to cast a protective eye upon all who dwell within these walls.

EAST:    We call upon the element of Air, and as the breeze surrounds us, cool and refreshing, we ask the energy of Air to aid us in cultivating our wishes so that they may be fruitful.  (Sound the Brass Bell)

SOUTH:    We call upon the element of Fire, and as the heat surrounds us, passionate and strong, we ask the energy of Fire to aid us in cultivating our desires so that they may be fruitful.  (Sound the Clay Rattle)

WEST:    We call upon the element of Water, and as the rain surrounds us, gentle and cleansing, we ask the energy of Water to aid us in cultivating our dreams so that they may be fruitful.  (Sound the Rain Stick)

Both:    Kindled by Gods will, it burns in our veins, Welcome within us, our hearts are your flames

 

HP:    Power of water, power to feel, Father within us, ancient and real

Both:    Soothed into calmness or tossed to extremes, Welcome, wild waves from the depths of our dreams

 

HPS:      Mother in waiting, child in the womb, Newly strung thread waits the night on the loom

Both:    earth that we come from, Earth where we go, Welcome, as you welcomed us long long ago.

(Working from the East, each Quarter encourages their participants to come up to the Altar and place their sticks into the flower pot.)

 

Raise Power

(Each Quarter instructs their section as HP & HPS walk the Circle.  When all Quarters are participating, encourage a brief rise in energy, then HP & HPS walk the Circle again calming each Quarter as they pass, spiraling into the center to focus all energies)

Great Rite

(HPS sits with HP standing – Members assist)

HP:    The calm waters gathered from still pools and quiet eddies represent the Magick of the Goddess.

(The bowl of water is given to HPS; she holds it up for all to see)

 

HPS:    Let my worship be within the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. Therefore, let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.

 

HPS:    The forceful waters gathered from racing streams and surging waterfalls represent the Mystery of the Gods.

(The pitcher of water is given to HP; he holds it up for all to see)

 

HP: Let my reverence be within the soul that aspires, let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing within you.  For these too are parts of the mysteries.  All beginnings have endings, and all endings have beginnings.

Both:    Spirit to Flesh - Masculine to Feminine - As the Goddess and God within, together they bring blessedness to life.

Altar Devotions

By the power of the Ancient Ones, in the names of those who have gone before.  I cast out all that would be harmful to those who gather here.  I clear the way for that which is only for our own greater good. We gather to experience the positive aspects of Healing and Learning and to share with each other the positive energies that will enable us to grow both emotionally and spiritually. With malice towards no-one, and harm to none - if Spirit so desires it, then let it be done!

Statement

May 28th, 2023, Moon, Waxing Gibbous phase. This is the First Quarter, an 8 days young Moon currently in Virgo.  Feelings of safety right now are related to order and clarity, even in emotions. There's the need to organize everything chaotic and disorganized. But try being more tolerant and accept the imperfections of life. It's better to trust life and let it run its course, not everything has to be according to our expectations.

 Call Quarters

EAST:    We remember fondly the Springtime of our youngest years; a brief moment of new beginnings and constantly unfolding mysteries. As each new day begins, so we will continue a new journey each morning as we awake.  Tonight we honor and thank the Spirits of the East for their presence in our lives. Blessed Be.

SOUTH:    The Summer of our lives flies past us all too quickly; the years of growth and prosperity. In the intense brightness of that Noon Hour, it was certainly our time to dance, to celebrate and love. Those precious years teach us to enjoy the full value of life.  Tonight we honor and thank the Spirits of the South for their presence in our lives. Blessed Be.

WEST:    For many of us our lives linger a while in Autumn, the years of harvest and family. These are the twilight days of our lives, sometimes bittersweet.  We spend our days surrounded by family and friends.  Tonight we honor and thank the Spirits of the West for their presence in our lives. Blessed Be.

NORTH:    All too soon, we look towards the Winter season of our lives; it’s a time to rest and reflect, to gather strength knowing the sun will always rise again. In the darkness of the Midnight Hour, it will not be a time to be afraid. So we each will choose to walk forward into our lives without fear. Tonight we honor and thank the Spirits of the North for their presence in our lives. Blessed Be.

Unite Energies 

Visualize a stream of vibrant, white light flowing down from the Universe above and in through the top of your head. Feel the light wash over you as a purifying waterfall, cleaning all past worries, fears, and anxieties. The light flows through you as you experience unconditional love, joy, well-being, and vitality all in the name of Spirit.

The white light shines vibrantly, as vibrant as all the jewels and gems in this world, and reflects all the colors of the rainbow throughout your being. Feel each color strike each individual cell of your body with radiating love and nourishment. You are healing.

Use your breath to breathe the stream of light in through your head. It flows through your body enriching and enlivening you. Breathe this light deep through your body and down through your feet through the soles and into the Earth.

You are creating an immeasurable corridor of light from the Source of Creation through your entire being and deep into the core of Mother Earth. You are becoming the vibrations and the frequencies of the healing white light. When you breathe out the white light, send it´s healing energy out to all of humanity.

Now take a bit of that beautiful light and send it out behind you where it will connect with the light of others in this room. We’ll use that combined light to create our Sacred Space today. So Mote it Be.

Community Workings

Buttons are such amazing little things. They help to keep things neat and tidy, everything in its place. But there are times when trying to keep everything in control can be very stressful; moments that silently steal our time and energy, robbing us of the ability to focus on those times that truly need our attention. We always called it 'choosing our battles' because not every battle needs to be won. There are times when we need to trust that everything will happen as it should. Sometimes it's best to simply take a deep breath, and let it go. Turn the moment over to the Universe to deal with. Tonight these buttons are going to become our reminders, and encouragements, of when we should learn to let it go.

Raise Power

Tonight we're going to make some noise, a cacophony of sound if you will. Doesn't matter what you do...snap your fingers, clap your hands, stamp your feet, hum a tune. We'll begin softly, a harsh discordant mixture of sounds. Then perhaps build a bit before finishing. And we'll turn that energy over to the Universe to play with.

Now we’re going to choose our button from the Altar. Think about those wasted battles when it would have been easier to simply let them go, to let the Universe handle it. If it’s something you’d like to say out loud, we’re here to listen. When you go home, simply place your button where you can see it occasionally to remind you that it’s okay to let it go.
